Happy Tails Pet Rescue
Happy Tails Pet Rescue is a small non-profit, We are a no-kill cat rescue organization in NH and MA. Our main shelter is in Hudson, NH and we have satellite locations at Petsmart stores in Plaistow, NH and Chelmsford, MA. We pull cats from high kill areas and also accept local surrenders. We are an all volunteer organization and a 501(c)(3). This means all donations and adoption fees go directly to caring for the cats and finding them forever homes. There are many volunteer opportunities within our organization. Adults and children are both welcome, but children under 18 must in the company of a parent or guardian at all times. Volunteer tasks include cleaning and socialization shifts at our various locations, transporting cats to appointments, helping at events, fostering cats, making crafts that can be used to raise money, assisting with social media, photographing cats for their adoption profiles, and much more! Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm
Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm offers a variety of therapeutic riding programs for people of all ages. Volunteers assist lessons by leading horses and side-walking next to clients to provide encouragement and stability.
Lowell Humane Society
The purpose of the Lowell Humane Society is preventing cruelty to animals, providing care for homeless and distressed animals, and educating the public in proper animal care. Services: animal shelter and animal protective society; animals for adoption; Pet Therapy for Senior Citizens; animal population control; lost & found; humane education and information services; ambulance services.
Chelmsford Dog Association
The Chelmsford Dog Association is a non-profit organization made up of Chelmsford residents to helpĀ promote and support the construction of an off-leash dog park in town as well as to promote responsibleĀ pet ownership.
