Merrimack Special Education Collaborative
A collaborative comprised of the towns of Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Groton-Dunstable, North Middlesex, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro, and Westford to provide services to special-needs students. Services: educational and therapeutic services for children with multi-handicapped conditions; Physical, Occupational, and Speech/Language Therapy; specialized instruction, therapeutic services, adaptive equipment, application of computer technology.

An organization which provides mutual support for friends and families of the mentally ill, educates the public about mental illness, and fights its stigma; advocates for better care and keeps updated on the latest research.
Paul Center for Learning and Recreation (Camp Paul)
A year-round, multi-service agency dedicated to helping persons with significant disabilities to develop their maximum potential and independence. The Summer Program is a Chapter 766-approved school for ages 4-21; a recreational camp setting is used to create a strong educational curriculum based on the child’s individualized educational plan. Programs include summer day camp, overnight camp for ages 12-21, Friday night socials, Saturday Respite Care and school vacation programs.

Chelmsford Commission on Disabilities
The Town of Chelmsford Commission on Disabilities is empowered to coordinate and carry out programs that meet the needs of the disabled in the Town of Chelmsford. The Commission is an appointed committee which strives to deal with all disability issues, including, but not limited to, providing information, advocacy, referrals, guidance, awareness, education, coordination of activities, and technical assistance. The Commission’s target audience is public agencies, private individuals, public and private organizations, public and private entities, and institutions. Commission members offer fresh concepts, enthusiastic ideas, energetic goals, and a determined outlook.

Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Chelmsford Lodge #2310
Elks Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a building, golf course or pool. They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up.
