The Center for Hope and Healing

We offer free and confidential support to survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones, including individual counseling, medical and legal advocacy, healing circles, and more. All our services are free and confidential, regardless of insurance, income, citizenship, or any other barriers. We are committed to serving survivors of all identities, expressions, and life experiences.

We engage individuals through raising awareness and educating the community at large to prevent sexual violence. We build community by creating and sustaining relationships that increase social justice, individual well-being and reduce negative impacts of all forms of violence and oppression; particularly rape and sexual assault. We organize and empower individuals and communities to participate in the social change movements to improve safety, respect, and equality. Today, with a staff of eleven and 15-20 volunteers on average, CHH is the only sexual assault program serving Lowell and 13 surrounding communities. CHH provides 24 hour, 7 days/week crisis hotline, advocacy and medical accompaniment to survivors of rape and their significant others. CHH also provides community outreach, training and awareness about preventing sexual violence.
